Description:Beginning July 4th, visitors touring Stonehenge Estate will enjoy plenty of holiday decorations in historic buildings dating back to the 1800s.
The stone Farmhouse and Wine Press Cottage, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, will be decorated with trees, garland, wreaths and other holiday embellishments that are sure to put everyone in a festive spirit.
Since this event starts on Independence Day, the main living room will be completely decorated in a patriotic theme honoring our military. Stonehenge Estate is also donating 50% of each ticket sold to the Wounded Warrior Project which provides aid to severely injured service men and women.
This attraction is considered by many to be the best kept secret on the island, so be sure to make time to stop by and help with this worthwhile charity.
For those interested in shopping, Stonehenge Gift Shop offers a variety of unique gifts that are fun to both give and receive. The shop has been highlighted in Family Fun Magazine & Lake Erie Living and features many products handmade by artisans right here in the U.S.A.
