The South Bass Island State Park on Put-in-Bay

This campground features 120 non-electric sites and eleven full service sites with electric, water and sewer hook-ups. The park offers flush toilets, showers, a dump station, and fish cleaning building. Pet camping is permitted on designated sites, and you'll also find a picnic shelter, children's playground, waterfront campsites, pier fishing, pebble swimming beach, jet ski and watercraft rental, plus a snack and coffee shop. No alcohol is allowed in the park.

A youth group camp is available by reservation for organized groups. Four cabents, combining the best features of cabin and tent, are available through a lottery system for weekly rental Memorial Day to the last weekend in September. There is also a lottery for rental of the rustic cabin located near the park office. This park covers the same property on which the famed Hotel Victory once stood. Today you can view some of the ruins, including the natatorium (swimming pool). For more information about the Hotel Victory be sure to visit the Lake Erie Islands Historical Museum, off Catawba Avenue, downtown.
