Put-in-Bay Offers Family and Value-Friendly Events for 2010
May 27, 2010 - Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island), Ohio. The official beginning of summer is just a few weeks away, but the island of Put-in-Bay is already starting to buzz with activity. Attractions, restaurants and pubs are opening, Miller ferries are running and visitors are beginning to fill the streets, shops, parks and marinas.
Miller Boat Line has long been the most value-friendly way to travel to Put-in-Bay and the only way to bring both passengers and vehicles to the island. Miller Marina, located in the western area of Put-in-Bay’s downtown harbor, provides day and overnight dockage and is now accepting reservations for the entire summer, no more than two weeks in advance, by calling 419-285-5902. Along with golf cart rental, a new outdoor pavilion and WIFI, the marina features a new gift store and harborside patio.
There are plenty of reasons this season for families, couples, singles and seniors to travel to Put-in-Bay. See below for a calendar of some of the key events on the island during the 2010 season. Visit us at www.millerferry.com for coupons, discounts on restaurants, tours, lodging, golf cart and bike rentals and more.
